Soulmarks are cherished. It is a sacred thing, treasured and anticipated by everyone. People spend their life looking for their soulmate, searching and searching, and their life bloomed when they finally met theirs.
But this is not the case with Harry Potter.
Harry doesn't think he needs a soulmate, no matter what other people say. He doesn't need a special someone to complete his life, someone to understand and love him unconditionally. He already has his brother, after all.
