Summary
Jodie is just a normal guy. (maybe if he says it enough, he'll believe it.)
A normal guy who's just starting to get his life together (or at least it feels that way because he can't seem to remember anything specific from before yesterday.)
He's training as a new traffic cop and looking forward to a long and happy career. (no reason to quit his decent-paying job. he's sure a lot of people have a recurring nightmare about a hypothetical bad day at work; that's just a normal reaction from normal stress)
And he's just met this amazing woman he wants to plan a future with. (it's hard to see a future without her, actually. It's like... when he's with her, he finally understands why he's here. Like he was tailor-made to be hers', and the thought of not spending every day waking up next to her would be a failure on his part. Which is... fine. That's just how love is. Jodie's almost certain this is what love must be.)*** I'm not a mental health professional, and my writing of Jodie is not meant to be a representation of anything real regarding Psychosis. I've just tagged them, so people know that he's having trouble feeling real/human, and the writing will reflect that.***
