    Summary

    Murderer, traitor, usurper. Hero, liberator, Jarl. Ulfric Stormcloak is many things; a Tongue, a war veteran and the leader of a rebellion that will seal the fate of mankind.
    And somewhere, buried beneath all the titles, there is a man. A self-proclaimed king, a former prisoner who will never be free of his past, a true Nord who belongs to Skyrim even if she will never belong to him.
    He might be a good, noble man. He might not.

    Many of these stories go hand in hand with the Blacktyde Chronicles, but since they are centered around Ulfric Stormcloak, I have decided to take them out of the BC and instead begin a new series. Much can be read on its own, though some things might be confusing without any knowledge of the main story.

    Roger really, really should have taken that shower. He woke up at 7 with a frigid chill running down his spine and a blocked nose. Great. Just what he needed. He was sweating a little bit, too, which was marvellous, and when he got up out of bed to go to the loo he had to grab the wall to stop himself from toppling over. Fuck. He wasn’t going to hear the end of it if he’d gone and gotten himself sick.

    In which there is a snowstorm, Roger is sick, Deaky is anxious, Brian is confused, and Freddie just wants everybody to be okay.
