The gallery seemed to shrink around them, all oil portraits and shadows. Megumi’s heart thundered, fury and something more traitorous knotting in his chest. Why is he here? Why does he keep looking at me like that?
“Why are you even bothering?” Megumi asked bitterly. “Did your ego take a hit when I walked off without fawning over you like the others?"
“No,” Ryoumen said simply. “Because you looked at me like I was nothing. And I’ve been looked at a lot of ways—but never like that.”
Megumi faltered for a breath. “You deserve worse.”
“I probably do.” Ryoumen stepped closer, enough that Megumi could feel the warmth radiating through the scant inches between them. “But I’m still asking.”
Megumi narrowed his eyes. “Asking what?”
Ryoumen’s hand lifted, palm open, patient and strangely soft for someone who could break him with a word. “Dance with me.”
Megumi stared at the offered hand, then up into those infuriating eyes. “You’re serious?”
“I am.”
“No.”

Meeting Sukuna, a Prime alpha, brings him a new sense of self and safety, but Megumi knows love can only hurt in the long run. He knows better than to fall for a man that looks like danger personified, and it seems that maybe Sukuna agrees with that statement. Even so, it is hard to follow logic rather than emotions when there's a deeper, unusual connection bringing them back together over and over again.

Its an unconscious teenager, black out drunk and not even able to form a coherent word. He was found laying on the cold hard ground right in front their hospital doors. Of course Sukuna helps him, it's his job as the head physician of the ER, but he also has a soft spot for cases like this one.
The dark haired boy has no personal items on him, not even a phone or an ID, his clothes are dirty and partially torn apart, his hair grimy and unwashed and heos obviously malnourished. It's clear as day that he is in trouble and not your typical party drunk who couldn't hold his liquor. He was a special case, and Sukuna wanted to find out more about him. Unfortunately, this boy hated his guts before he could even talk to him.
