Summary
Yuuji Itadori does not believe in magic— and he certainly does not believe in fate.
In fact, he refuses to believe that the universe has some kind of big, grand plan for him and the plain, little life he lives in which he struggles to pay the bills, take care of his ailing grandfather, and keep his head down.
Fate decides to prove him very, very wrong.

Summary
His infatuation with her is something consuming and meteoric. Sukuna loathes it, loathes the way her gentle morals lay on him like sparks of a fire. How in the end, no matter the blood or corpses thrown at her feet. Itadori sticks to her principles, broken, changed, born anew in ash. She accepts the facts in front of her — that humanity is cruel, disgusting and unforgiving. All the things Sukuna knew from birth.
Yet she still believes there are good parts, too. Kindness, compassion, sincerity.
And she is proven correct, again and again.
Sukuna watches, he loathes, and he wants.
_
Or, Sukuna gets what he wants.

Summary
His teacher was the strongest jujutsu sorcerer. His teacher was the wielder of the scales of jujutsu society. His teacher kept everything even and still, if he died then the jujutsu world would be put into a much more appalling uproar. It would be much, much worse than the current situation they faced.
Yuuji hoped Gojou-sensei wouldn't die any time soon, because he had something to tell his teacher.
An apology, to be exact, and a wish to be forgiven to go along with the statement.
Because Yuuji lost it.
Yuuji had lost it, and no matter how far and desperate he searched for it, he could never find it again.
~~~
Reuniting with his teacher, Yuuji had both a strong embrace and an apology to give.
Fear grips Megumi, concern for Yuji's health, the health of their pup— "Hey, wanna slow down?"
Yuji's expression morphs from one of euphoric bliss into fierce displeasure, disgust even. "No!" He snaps, removing a hand from Megumi's shoulder to prop behind himself. Nails dig into Megumi's thigh, Yuji's body arches as he bends back beautifully. "Be a good alpha, and stay."
Summary
“I’m glad you came to see me though, Yuji,” he added quietly.
Yuji’s heart fluttered in his chest. God, he wanted to kiss him so bad. The light from outside was streaming in gently through the thin, shoji doors, illuminating Megumi in a soft glow. He looked angelic, too beautiful to put in words.
But when Yuji thought about his original intentions to confess his feelings, suddenly everything felt wrong.
Summary
“Yuuji…” The slow change of Megumi’s tone makes him sweat. He shuffles on his feet and hides his possible shame behind another bite of the waffle. “Did you seriously forget your own birthday?” Incredulous. That’s what Megumi sounds like right now.
“Oh, thank god I didn’t forget an anniversary,” Yuuji sighs, slightly bending at the hips. Then he pops back up to steal Megumi’s phone off the counter, tapping the black screen to see that, indeed, it is his birthday.
“Huh, I… totally forgot,” Yuuji says, scratching the side of his head and setting Megumi’s phone back down. He ignores the little happy buzz in his stomach at the fact that he’s the black-haired man’s lock screen.
“Of course you did,”
“Bed?” Megumi asks, eyeing the clock. It blinks the time at him, warm red numbers lighting up the room after their phones had shut off.
11:09 PM.
“Mm…” Itadori hums in response to his inquiry, the black-haired boy already placing his phone on his nightstand, ready to do the same with Itadori’s. Instead of snuggling deeper into the covers drawn over them, Itadori sits up slightly, dragging him to where he lays against the tops of the pillows, looming slightly over Megumi.
“Fushiguro…” Itadori starts, slightly muffled behind the hand covering his mouth, looking down at him with those big light brown eyes.
Oh well, he’ll have to be a good teacher and teach Yuji’s body to be correct.
