Summary
When Coach Wiebe suggests that Luca Haas should move in with Ilya for a while, as both of them seem lonely, Ilya nearly loses his mind. Not only does this mean he will see Shane even less than before, but it also means that the Centaurs have realised that Ilya's mental health is suffering. The worst part is that when Ilya tells Shane about it, Shane actually supports the idea, saying that it might be good for Ilya and Luca.
Turns out it's the second-best thing that has ever happened to Ilya.
or: ilya basically adopts luca aka the ottawa found family trope we all need.

“It’s just the superior way of driving, sweetheart. Also, everybody drives on the right side. The question is why do you British drive on the left side?” He cackles.
“Plenty of countries drive on the left side. India, South Africa, Australia.” Henry countered, eyes on the road.
“All former colonies sweetheart. Any country you didn’t terrorize prefer the right side. It’s just better.” Alex grins.
