The Austrian Grand Prix wraps up an intense triple header for the grid drivers, but though it's all celebration for the Dutch fans in the grand stand, not all is well behind the scenes. Insecurity still plagues Daniel's heart even after a better race with McLaren; Charles fears he's going to be left behind, not just by the media but also by the driver he loves most; and Seb and Kimi collide at the end of the race, throwing the Finn into a blind panic.

The second half of the season is in full swing with a triple-header start. Daniel, having had the crappiest summer break in history is still trying to remain hopeful of his feature while preparing for another life-altering event ahead. Mick continues to worry over his best friend and he isn’t far off from sensing that something isn’t right. That is at least what Sebastian’s uncle senses are telling him. While Christian is enjoying the change from his usual team principal duties, he will also be very happy once Daniel’s great plan is ready. Though the said plan is having more effect on him on a personal level more than he is willing to admit. George manages to score another great podium place and has Checo rewarding him accordingly after the race.

There is already some wistfulness in the air, as the second to last race of 2022 season is held in Brazil. Before the race Sebastian takes some time to himself, trying to set out his plans for his post-race life while hiking in Chilean mountains. Landos’s and Carlos’s already traditional “holiday” week between the South-American races gets a turn for the worse, when Lando becomes ill with food poisoning. Luck is also not on Esteban’s side, the events of the sprint race and Mick’s unfortunate career news causing a lot of extra woes. Christian also has everything but a joyful weekend and Daniel for some reason finds himself with an unexpected job offer in his hand. The only positive to the weekend seems to be George’s first ever GP victory which does mend some of Checo’s post-race agitation.
