“I like you, Ignacio,” Lalo began, musing. “You’re not a suck-up like those other guys. You have a backbone. I don’t know how you survived Tuco like that, but I think it’s good for business, someone with a second opinion. And man, you’ve got a mouth on you.” A thumb dragged over Nacho’s lower lip, Lalo’s eyes momentarily fixed on it, and he leaned close. Their faces only inches apart, Lalo lowered his voice, pitching it like he was giving Nacho a crucial piece of advice, mentor to mentee. “But you’ve got to learn when to shut up, Ignacio. I can’t have you disrespecting me like that, entiendes?”

It's poker night, and Nacho, fed up with Lalo's pet name for him, has a slip of the tongue. "Lalito" is not an appropriate name to call your boss.

So that he can sit here, in his big house, having dinner with his asshole boss, and feel like shit.
