Summary

After her father’s untimely death, she tries to do just that, given it’s the only way to stay alive. She isn’t in a position to rule, lacking the experience and resources needed to face challengers and otherwise succeed in a cutthroat world. Unfortunately, her abdication isn’t enough to satisfy Daemon, who has his own plans in mind for her future.
