Summary
Professor Flitwick leaves a room full of sixth and seventh years unsupervised for ten minutes.
The lesson immediately collapses into chaos.
What starts as a simple argument between Sirius and Regulus Black somehow turns into a public trial of Regulus and Pandora Rosier's deeply concerning childhood behaviour, complete with Pensieve evidence, traumatised witnesses, and several Muggles who will probably never recover.
Unfortunately for everyone involved, the memories only reveal more problems: Evan Rosier has been hopelessly in love with Regulus for years, Pandora has apparently been flirting with Sirius in the most alarming ways imaginable, and nobody in the room is emotionally prepared for any of it.
By the time Flitwick returns, friendships have been tested, childhood crimes have been exposed, several public confessions have occurred, and Sirius Black has learned that being haunted and being courted are not always different things.
