There's something about France that brings him back to life, no matter how exhausted he is. The fact that he isn't up at ungodly hours, devouring a meager breakfast before an early rehearsal, definitely helps. So do the dazzling landscapes and blue, blue skies, and the lively atmosphere.

“So few things in this world are.” There was a sound of static as Shu straightened his back, trying to still the quiver in his wings, “Is it not our place as outcasts to accept them anyway?”

The night he escapes from the castle, crown prince Todoroki Shouto finds himself cursed by the magician in his father's employ. Undeterred, Todoroki strikes up a deal of his own: kill the most powerful witch in the kingdom to have the curse broken.

Eyes wide, Tamaki takes his hand. When Kyoya lets him, tension rushes out of him, like a sigh he hadn’t known he’d been holding. He brings Kyoya’s hand up to his face, closing his eyes, and breathes out quietly down Kyoya’s wrist.
Kyouya matches his fingers to the curve of Tamaki’s cheek and says, “You can have more than this.”
