That would show Dream. Prove him wrong.
Tommy was no pussy, not one bit. He wasn't even nervous. (that was a lie)
He decided that this was high enough, despite half of a stack of blocks he still had in his inventory. Looking down, he realized just how high he was. Hundreds of feet in the air, with no chance of survival. Perfect.
Looking out to the ocean, Tommy raised his hand to flip off wherever Dream had disappeared to.
And then he jumped.

Summary
Dream is a hunter, and Tommy is his ‘dog.’ A super hybrid that can kill anything almost instantly. Super helpful when it comes to Black Market necessities.
But obviously having a weapon this powerful cannot exist without gloating, sharing to the world of his little pet. So what happens when Tommy is taken from the only job he's ever known?

He can’t count, he can’t read, and he can’t go a day without being reminded of his years of trauma.
Phil yearns for the boy, taking him under his wing. Determined to let a kid, be a kid.

“I don’t believe you for a second,” the villager said with a scoff. “Reviving the dead? You, a god? That’s the most preposterous thing I’ve heard in all my years.”
“Oh? You don’t believe me?” Dream smiled. “That’s okay, I’m more than willing to give you all a demonstration. Tommy,” he called, gesturing to the blond.
Tommy knew exactly what was going to happen, and he knew that there was no point in resisting, for it’d be over quicker if he gave up and went along with it (and if he struggled he’d really just be making a fool of himself). So he walked over to Dream, quietly, obediently, and stood facing the crowd. At least his death would be quick this time, he thought, as he shut his eyes and felt the cool of metal against his neck. One slash, and the world went dark.
Or: Tommy didn’t originally plan to hit the water when he jumped off the tower in Logsted, so he hit the ground instead. Dream decides that’s as good a time as any to test out the revival book, and upon succeeding, decides he’s a god and it’s high time he gained some followers.

“He’s just a child.” Phil answers distractedly, humming as his wings get gently yanked at.
“He’s the first of three to destroy life as we know it! Shouldn’t we, well, get rid of him?!”
“Oh, no.” Phil raises his eyes with a sharp glare. “Believe me, I have my own way of preventing the apocalypse.”

Or, Techno, Wilbur, and Tommy are basically chaotic forces of nature, destined from birth to end the world and bring destruction. Most who hear of the tale of them are trying their best to track them down, and to end the monsters while they’re still young, still just children.
Phil has a different plan.
(In which Phil raises the minecraft equivalents of the anti-christ with love and support, so much so to the point where the world ending is really just a funny thought, and Phil has three kids who casually have powers that are bit more extreme than anything else in the world)

As he floats by, resigning himself to a fate of being cast out from home after home, he meets a strange family that isn't awful right away. But when his mysterious past catches up to him, will Tommy be able to stay with his new family before the option is taken away forever?------
in other words, tommy is mute and gets fostered by Phil, in which he finally learns how to deal with trauma healthily! but not without a lot of angst and drama before then.(on hiatus rip)
