He couldn't stand to look at mirrors. Everytime he does he gets disgusted and feels the urge to punch the mirror, to watch the glass die out and destroy his image.
This disgusting face.
Anytime he gets to look at the mirror for too long, he'd just start pitying himself.
He spends restless nights wishing for a new face. Asking himself questions such as "why am I so ugly?" Believing he doesn't deserve to live. Why couldn't he be born with a better face?
--The scars that were splattered and painted disgracefully. The marks and wounds that decorated his skin ungenerously.
The nasty various cuts and bruises, immensely self inflicted that told thousands of stories, but would only be met with raw emotion, teary eyes, and a throat unable to breathe.

“But I didn’t know that included sexual frustration”, gibed Dazai in octave lower, glint in eyes darkening. In an echo Fyodor’s dimmed too. Those thin lips that captured too much of his attention contorted into a sinister smile, left nothing to imagination and a lot to Dazai’s accumulated frustration.
In which Fyodor’s obsession with Dazai gets out of hand and he ends up minding Dazai’s skirt chasing habits a tad bit too much to sit it out – thence takes matters into own hands.

The first time Dazai tried to kill himself was when he was 8 years old. The idea of suicide was put into his head after he found a book, The Guide to Suicide. That book opened up an option to escape life a depressed, abused 8 year old shouldn’t have access too.
