Summary
The Church-McAllister family has been a part of Tidepoint, Oregon for decades.
As they should be, they helped F.I.L.S.S. code the damn place.
As a response to the Director's not so kind orders to commit suicide and destroy many other A.I in the process, the Freelancer Integrated Logistics and Security System decided that she was quite fond of living, actually, and that saving her fellow Artificial Intelligence Units along with herself would be preferred over imminent destruction.
One thing led to another and now every A.I set up for destruction after the war due to "knowing too much" or "no longer being of use" has gained a second chance at life, including the Smart A.I fragments paired with the Freelancers.
What inane shenanigans will they get up to now?

He peers between the branches at the spiderweb, gently pushing some away to get a better view. He wonders what kind of spider it is, if he can catch a glimpse of it. There aren’t that many types in England, but--
Oh. He doesn’t spot the spider, but there’s something else trapped in the middle of the web. A large moth, its wings splayed helpless and immobile. As he watches, he sees its legs wriggle ineffectually in the air. It’s a surprisingly pitiful sight, making Martin’s heart unexpectedly wrench a bit for the poor thing.

Summary
Michael J. Caboose has always seen his world in color and fractals. His friends, through interacting with said soldier, soon see him through brand new lenses. It's just a shame that some things they see aren't too nice, but with Caboose, they quickly learn that all you need is your connections with people to survive the worst of situations.
After all, nobody could ever guess how much pain a person can experience and still come out smiling on the other end, until they tell you. And Caboose doesn't know when to shut the hell up.

Summary
She had to get better, obviously, but she kept running into the same barriers. Kakashi-sensei had given them a week off after Wave and then promptly fucked off to kami-sama knows where, her taijutsu was abysmal, her chakra reserves were too small for most jutsus beyond the Academy Three which was basically every jutsu in existence, and she didn’t have any kind of support system that could help her in any meaningful way. She spent an entire day scouring the library for any kind of tool or trick or skill that would be accessible to a genin who knew fuck all about being a ninja that would also positively impact her chances of survival starting immediately. Unsurprisingly, there was almost nothing. Surprisingly, she did find one potential lead.
So. Summoning.
