Summary
Four years. That is how long it takes to build a completely new life, and exactly how long it takes to realize you can never fully outrun your old one.
Trading the haunted woods of Hawkins for the sun-drenched pavement of California, Lucas and Max are finally stepping into the future they fought so hard to earn. College is a blank slate—a chance to navigate the messy, beautiful reality of young adulthood. From sharing their first cramped apartment and surviving grueling academic schedules, to exploring intimacy and learning how to heal side-by-side, they are determined to carve out a quiet, normal existence.
But the past is not done with them just yet.
When a familiar voice crackles through a walkie-talkie in the dead of night, the reality they have accepted is instantly shattered. After two agonizing years of grieving her ultimate sacrifice, Eleven is alive. How she survived, where she has been hidden all this time, and what her impossible return means for the fractured Party will shift the ground right beneath their feet.
or
The continuation from “The Time in Between” and Lucas’s and Max’s college life + the rest of the party.

Summary
And Lucy Gray realizes – she’s not just a songbird in a cage.
She’s a songbird that allowed herself to get caught.
In the end, it comes down to this:
A boy and a girl sitting in the dark, their love hanging like a shadow between them.
“Come with me,” the boy pleads, as if this were a fairy-tale, a happy story, a lullaby. “Come with me.”
Or: Lucy Gray returns to the Capitol with Snow.

Summary
Can you make a man good? Can you inspire a man to goodness? To purity?
A man who kills for you— is that purity? Purity of purpose, of love, of obsession perhaps.
'You were the first man who had me, you know that,' she murmurs as he clutches her close in his bed, as her legs lift higher around his hips.
'I know,' he grunts.
'So I'm yours now, aren't I?' she says, trying not to make it sound like a plea. More like an oath.

Summary
In which Coriolanus Snow is handsomely rewarded for his tribute winning the Games and in turn handsomely rewards his prize, Lucy Gray, herself.
He's gone solemn now in the afterglow, serious. He cares for his own, Snow, she sees that with his family, and now she is one of them. Not his family, but something he owns. His prize, his ward, his girl.
Is she to be his mistress then? she thinks hazily as she slips towards sleep. Is that the future for her? To escape from the viper's den into the viper's mansion?
She shivers and he drags her closer, one large hand tucked around her hip.
Well, she can't escape now even if she wants to, she thinks, sinking into the softness of the plush mattress, burrowing back into the heat and warmth of her jailor.
