Summary
Dan is celebrating with Team Black after Yoon-gu’s first triumph in an official match. Meanwhile, he and Jaekyung have been going through a rough patch, with Jaekyung becoming increasingly snappy as both his rut and his next important match approach. Despite the tension, Dan is determined to enjoy the night and be there for Yoon-gu.
But when Jaekyung snaps yet again after seeing Dan being courted by another alpha, Dan decides to stay at the club rather than follow him. There, he meets a beautiful stranger who unexpectedly ends up becoming his companion for the rest of the night.
***
In the mirror, he spotted a pair of purple-grey eyes watching him.
"Was any of them your alpha?" A silky, low voice asked.
"Oh, pardon me?"
Dan turned around and focused. Even in this hazy state he could tell the stranger was an omega. A very beautiful one at that.
"Excuse my directness. I watched the scene around twenty minutes ago. I thought the one dominant alpha would lash on the other any moment," the stranger said, squinting his eyes. "Not that it's remotely surprising alphas would fight for someone as hot as you."

Summary
Dan could still remember the day he'd first met Jaekyung — a scrappy 18-year-old covered in cuts and bruises who entered Dan's life to solve a trivial plumbing problem that bothered him all night. And Dan would never forget when he met Jaekyung again at 25 — tall, tattooed, broad, built every inch like the MMA champion the 18-year-old had always aspired to be.
What started as an unlikely friendship inside a cramped university dorm migrated into an adult relationship with more complications than Granny's cancer diagnosis.
Two roommates, two people jinxed by life, and two emotionally constipated men slowly discover that love sometimes moves in one day and refuses to leave.
OR..."What if Dan and Jaekyung met in university instead of their adult years? How would Jinx have played out?"

MAJOR DISCLAIMER: The events in this fanfic were written before Chapter 93 was released.
---
The 25th of December looms close and so does the inevitable date of Dan's departure. Dan leaves Seoul with a degree to earn, and a bright new future to build. Jaekyung lets him go the only way he knows how: by staying and waiting, and pretending that “friends” is enough when it painfully isn’t.OR
Dan flies abroad to experience a new life for himself. FINALLY.
And Jaekyung mopes in Seoul, yearning for Dan’s presence day and night. That's sweet revenge in my book. 😛Bookmarked by arttiieee
