Summary
Eddie hates when Hellfire is interrupted.
Nothing good ever comes from anyone coming into the meeting room in the middle of the session, and he has a plethora of evidence in form of slur-filled taunts and painful bruises to back this statement up.
So when the door slammed open only twenty minutes into the start of Hellfire, he knew to prepare for the worst.

Summary
Dustin hums in agreement while he swallows his bite. “It’s like, against his factory settings to say no to you. What do you need him to do, model for you or something?”
Will shoves his face back into his hands. “I’m going to fail.”
Max rolls her eyes. “You’re not going to fail, you’re going to paint Mike.”
Will lifts his head up from his hands, eyes wide, and shakes his head. “You don’t understand.” He pleads with his awful, awful friends, voice low. “He’s been, he’s using my-he came out of my bathroom in just a towel last night.”

Summary
Nowadays, Mike repents on a Friday night. His tight little confession booth is the telephone box outside of his apartment; the glass is blacked out with tags and amateur graffiti; the filament hums like a choir, threatening to burst; the quarter he uses to call, his tithe. Instead of praying into his hands, he prays into a receiver and begs for mercy.
But, just as Pastor Coolidge always said, confession is only the first step. Heaven is earned; one must pay their penance first, and that will look different for every person. Mike’s looks a lot like worship.
He whispers into the phone, “Please.”
"Fine. I'm coming over now."
When Mike gets like this, at least he knows there's always someone he can turn to; someone who can save what's left of him.
