Summary
Shouta didn’t know whether it was the drinking, the lingering guilt, or the way Yamada’s mouth was slightly pulled down at the corners, but he suddenly felt convinced that he was going to be the one to solve his problems.
"Mic," he said abruptly. "What are you doing on Sunday?"
"Huh?" Yamada stumbled a little as he jerked in surprise at this sudden shattering of the silence. "I've got a guest appearance on an early morning radio show, but nothing after that. Why?"
Shouta sighed, already regretting his next words. "Keep the day free. I'm going to take you somewhere."
When Yamada turns up to work one morning looking uncharacteristically miserable, Shouta decides to take matters into his own hands and figure out a way to cheer him up. In a bid to be a better friend, he arranges for them to spend more time together - and while Shouta is busy worrying about Yamada's emotions, his own feelings begin to change, too.

"All of a sudden the shrubbery on top of the slope parted and gave way and then a man – wild-eyed and harried – could be seen staggering out into the open. He didn't get much further though, since his feet nearly instantly met with air. A yelp ripped out of his throat before he tumbled down the sharp-stoned side of the slope. He rolled a few times, groaning every time his body hit the ground.
He finally came to a stop a few steps beside the black haired man. Frantic green eyes snapped up and met with nearly black brown. The cloaked man froze for a second. Those green eyes were like a forest-fire, angry and defiant, sparking and unbending – like they would rather burn themselves to ash than let anyone stifle them.
A second passed as both men stared at each other in shock and suspicion – trying to gauge each others threat-level."
