This leaves to the two friends have no other choice, but to betroth Bran Stark and Myrcella Baratheon.
Myrcella is distraught, she doesn't want to be parted from her family and left in the frozen North. Cersei is raging, objecting of selling off her daughter to a savage Northman. With Myrcella left living in Winterfell with her betrothed, so begins her life among 'savages', as her mother calls the Northmen.

They bothe combined their powers to open a portal to another world and transported themselves there, alongside thousands of Grisha men, women and children.
They ended up in Westeros, in the North during the Long Night and helped the Northerners fight the Others, defeating them when Brandon the Sun summoner forged lightbringer by sacrificing his powers and defeated the Night King.
The Northerners bowed to them as Kings but Ilya the Shadow summoner wasn't interested in Kingship.
Brandon took the name Stark in honor of his mother, Alina Starkov, while Ilya ruled Moat Cailin later on in his life.
And thus began House Stark of Winterfell and House Morozova of Moat Cailin.
