"I don't want to owe anymore debts!" Kaveh yells abruptly, clenching his fists. "Nothing in life is free, I know that. I've learned that the hard way. And the last person I want to be indebted to is you."
Kaveh can't pay rent, he hasn't for eight long month, there just isn't enough money. But the last thing he wants is another thing for Alhaitham to dangle over his head.
He initiated it, but still, he never expected to find a new rent contract slipped under his bedroom door with the payment changed from mora to sexual intercourse.
AKA; Alhaitham and Kaveh use rent as an excuse to explore each other's bodies until their greed leads to more than just mere mutual lust.

whenever adrien gets sad, he writes random letters to ladybug that he knows he's never going to send her. he just likes the feeling of being able to talk to her about things, about his father, about his mother, about modelling, about his self esteem, and since he'd never have the bravery to reach for that comfort in person, writing it on paper is the next best thing. they become almost like a diary over the years.
flash forward to when they're older, post reveal, and getting ready to move in together. marinette is sorting through some boxes and finds a bundle of pages addressed to ladybug. at first she thinks its fanmail she forgot about, but as she begins to read she realises just how much her chaton had gone through all on his own, just how much he wanted her to be there for him but didn't know how to ask.
she doesn't mention it to adrien afterwards. but she cuddles him noticeably tighter that night when they go to bed.

Venti felt dizzy.
His head was spinning and his surroundings blurred whenever he tried to focus on something. He couldn’t form a single coherent thought, once such a smooth talker not being able to say a full sentence. The only thing he could concentrate on was the overwhelming pleasure spreading all over his body, his back arching towards the touch of those familiar strong hands, his own tangled in the sheets in a futile attempt to ground himself.
He knew that Morax missed him greatly while he slept, but he didn’t think it would be that much.

The Hydro Archon sat on the boat in silence, staring at the horizon with a solemn expression. The gardes and sailors accompanied her from afar, sometimes talking amongst each other quietly. No one knew what was on her mind, but they didn’t dare look at her too long. For once, Lady Furina wasn’t paying much attention to the desserts and beverages she had been offered. In the silentium, she stared at the horizon, unwavering like there was something hidden behind the morning fog that only she could see. The Hydro Archon wasn’t known for her geological prowess, and she most likely didn’t have a compass at hand, but everyone on the boat was certain that her gaze was pointed straight at their homeland as if she could already see the waterfalls that accompanied the harbor.
