They dragged him towards the door. Their grip was tight and unyielding, even as he thrashed in their hands.
In passing, Tony looked to the corner and froze. The third—guy? girl? He couldn’t tell their gender—prisoner was already staring at him, their green eyes tracking his every move. It made him wonder just how long they’d been watching him, sitting on the harsh floor in their tattered clothing as he was held at gunpoint and called a mass murderer.
As they shoved him out the door, Tony couldn’t help thinking about how young they looked.
When trapped with the Ten Rings, Anthony Edward Stark, cordially known as Tony, finds a young kid with no memories of their past and no name or family. They're silent, and with the shit the Rings do to them, he feels compelled to protect them. But of course, nothing has ever been simple for Tony, has it?
And no, Rhodey, he doesn’t attract trouble, what are you talking about?
