But of course, their captain notices him. The worry in Yuki’s face melts away at his arrival, giving him a small smile.
He can’t help reciprocating the smile with Loser’s words from earlier still ringing in his ears.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Yuki murmurs, but he totally does. He clutches his iPad close to his chest, angling it away from Ran’s line of vision. No one needs to know that the austere captain of the Japanese national team—who lives, laughs, volleyball in Paolo’s words—spends his free time watching videos of his fellow club teammate staring sensually into the camera with nothing but briefs on.
