She had never surrendered control, ever in her life. He never trusted himself to take it. But that’s what made the dynamic so intoxicating. She had never felt safer with anyone else, never loved and trusted someone like she did him.
And for Percy, nothing made him feel more alive than being the source of her pleasure. When he had been a marionnet all his life, a martyr for the fate of the world, it was overwhelmingly cathartic to feel powerful in a different way.
Not in the way that could defeat Gods or flood cities, but in the way that he could soften her with just a touch, a whispered sentence. Outside of this room, who people thought they were didn’t matter. They could give each other something that they could never find anywhere else.

She wants him smirking at her, whispering in her ear, slipping his hand under the fabric of her skirt.
She wants him exactly how he is now, his lips pressing patterns on her collarbone and up the column of her neck; his nose skimming along her jaw and up towards her ear; one of his hands tangled in her hair, the other trailing up the inside of her thigh, teasing her through her underwear.

She walks along an ancestrally paved road of black gold with her hands in the pockets of a Senator and a supermodel, later inheriting a sizable fortune in her mid-20s from her deceased mother. The girls of America vie for even a shred of her presence, her power, her looks, trying and never-quite-succeeding to replicate the perfect curl and color of her honey-blonde hair, her relentless business acumen, and her unwavering charisma.
However, the definition of gilded means “covered thinly in gold,” and Annabeth’s life is no different. Between maintaining forward momentum on her recovery post-rehab, the stress of inheriting a multi-billion dollar business from her estranged dead mom, dealing with her still living family, and the presence of a new stalker, there’s very little seeming good in her real life.
There is one relief, though… unusual and socially ruinous as it is to run an NSFW Tumblr blog when you’re someone like her.
So long as she doesn’t show her face or her voice, she should be safe, but when a professor with the whole package is her mutual, well.
Things can get a little complicated.
