Summary
If Wylan Van Eck could be anyone for a day. it would be Jesper. Infuriating, irresponsible, disrespectful and arrogant Jesper. Because for as small and insensitive as he is, he doesn’t seem to care. And because maybe then he’d know what it’s like to feel like you belong. Or, at the very least, he’d know what it feels like to be likable.
All Jesper Fahey can think about is how Wylan would be a much better son than him. As much as he can’t stand his clear arrogance and his privilege due to class differences severely pisses him off, he’s doubted Wylan has ever been as much of a disappointment as he is. His Da deserves better. After all, why would anyone want someone as stupid, and disorganized as much as a let down as him?
When two boys in rival bands cross paths for the first time, it’s everything short of perfect. However, when each finds something magnetic, and enticing about the other, it’s hard to not grow closer. And, in the end, the pair might need each other more than they even realize.

Summary
After walking along the roads of shops for a few minutes, Wylan can smell coffee. Plenty of coffee, too; it is far from a weak smell. He immediately sets out in search for the source of this scent, because why on earth are people drinking no small amount of caffeine at this time— it may be an area full of college kids, but, last Wylan checked, nobody drank a whole tanker full of coffee at twelve in the morning.
As he walks further down the streets in his search, he sees it; a cafe, clearly open from the lights on and a couple of baristas in uniforms inside. It definitely looks cozy, and it is quiet, which is to be expected at this time at night (–or is it technically morning? Does it even matter?)
Wylan has to now decide whether or not to satiate his curiousity, or to do the much more sensible thing and listen to his anxiety telling him that he should turn around and walk right back to his flat

Maybe it was stupid of Wylan. An impulsive decision. But he didn’t care. Something snapped in his mind that instant. He grabbed a flash bomb out from his bag and ran past Kaz, faintly hearing the man call out for him. Or was that Jesper’s voice? Wylan didn’t have time to think as the squaller got closer and closer to Inej and he was running out of time. “Get down!” He yelled out, praying to Ghezen that Inej would react fast enough. Wylan threw the bomb in their direction and shut his eyes in hopes the effect wouldn’t be as blinding. It went off with a loud boom immediately knocking everyone off their feet.
Or, What if Wylan gets captured instead of Inej?
