She shakes her head, “Seriously? Steve, I cannot think of a worse time, place, or person for a one-night stand.”
That doesn’t answer his question, “Why?”
“Have you met you? We’re stuck together 24/7 and you are not exactly Tony Stark when it comes to one night stands or casual sex.”
Tony’s name hangs in the air between them. Steve tries his best to pretend it doesn’t bother him, “Yeah, well. Tony Stark fell in love, couldn’t I have a one night stand? It’s not like I haven’t done it before.”
She raises an eyebrow, “Have you?”
“Yeah,” he says, “Once or twice, so if you have suggestions…”
He sees her trying to work out if he’s being literal. And truth is, while Steve’s pretty confident that nothing’s changed in regards to the mechanics of the thing, 1943 was a long time ago. She hesitates, “Promise things won’t be weird?”
“They won’t be weird,” he says, “We’re friends, right? We can be friends who got naked that one time. Will you feel better?”Bookmarked by averizz

Unfortunately, Steve has taken Natasha’s advice and now wants to date the tall, blonde and (to Nat's disappointment) pretty agent called Sharon Carter. A story full of jealousy, angst, (smut? mhmm…) and feelings.

natasha is pressed up against a wall that somehow stayed up from the 10 bombs that were rigged in the building. her black catsuit is laved in dirt and dust, blood clinging to the crook of her shoulder and thigh which shes gripping with whatever strength she has left.
the corner of her lips shift upwards as she tries to speak, completely breathless.
steve immediately crouches in front of her, pushing away fallen pieces of hair that hug her forehead and cheeks.
“took you long enough…”
he can’t help but linger on her face, staring, looking for injuries that maybe he can’t see. even in this condition she looks like she could rule the world.

She was across the space between them in the flash of a few short steps, her body rolled tight against his as she pressed her lips to his open mouth. Which, after a brief second of shock, he opened wider, beckoning her to explore. She wanted to. She suddenly wanted nothing more than to lose herself in the comforting heat and strength of him, but she needed to gauge his reaction first. She drew back, craning up to look at his face. His eyes were wide, but his body was still relaxed against hers. And the first rosy suggestion of a blush stained his cheeks. She'd surprised him, but he wasn't moving away.
