The Beast Peak does the actual veterinarian work for the animals, but for training they will at times lend sick or injured animals for them to learn from. It is not the same as treating a human patient, but sometimes there can be - overlap.
Mu Qingfang is reminded of this at his very first medical examination of one Shen Qingqiu. He’s glaring at Mu Qingfang even though he’s only just stepped into the room, bristling like a furious stray cat. A hurt, cornered animal, hissing and bearing its claws to hide how terrified it is.

When Yoo Joonghyuk reunites with Kim Dokja in the 73rd Demon Realm, he has several orders of business: make Kim Dokja regret his actions from the tenth scenario, make Kim Dokja address his Fate from the tenth scenario, and make Kim Dokja agree to an imprint so that the likes of the tenth scenario cannot happen again.
Kim Dokja, very objectively and of sound mind, thinks that this is a bit ridiculous. An imprint between them - two alphas that hardly ever see eye to eye on anything outside of the very basics of survival - is unthinkable.
(Of course, this is ignoring the fact that Kim Dokja himself had formed a one-sided imprint on Yoo Joonghyuk a long, long time ago.)

One six hour rehearsal has tensions higher than ever, leaving them all, sans Jinu, slumped against dead trees and gulping down only somewhat clean water. Jinu has been tense the past few weeks, unhappy with the lack of progress. Romance gets it but after the day they’ve all had, he’s not feeling very sympathetic.
Baby all but downs all of his water in under thirty seconds before pulling it out of his mouth with a pop and announcing to the other three of them, “I’m going to kill him.”
Romance groans, head tipping back. “Don’t kill him. He’ll take months to regenerate. Then all our work will have been for nothing.”
“I’m thinking about it.” Baby glares down at his water bottle like it has personally offended him. “If I hear him say we need to put more heart into it one more time, I might not be able to stop myself.”
(Or Jinu needs to teach four demons how to sing and dance like professionals, both before the Idol Awards and ensure they get Gwi-Ma’s support in the process. A look into how that might’ve gone.)
