Summary
150 years since the French and Prussian thrones were united under the Nassal dynasty, the Franco-Prussian Empire, and later the Franco-German then the European Empire has grown in both size and strength, becoming one of the four dominant powers on the continent, along with Austria-Hungary, the Russian Empire, and the Ottoman Empire.
During the rule of Emperor Maximilian III, the Empire celebrates the anniversary with a large masquerade in the Palace of Versailles. But when the Emperor and a minor French nobleman, Raphael, meet due to a glass of water, they are instantly attracted to one another.
So, after being invited onto the Imperial Train that travels all over the Empire on the Kaiserbahn, Max and Raph begin to explore their feelings for one another. Until things take a turn that neither of them were expecting, leaving them both reeling from its impact and unsure where they stand, or if they’re even safe.
A stand-alone story of attraction, love, sex, and treason.
