Finally– a few beats after he stopped his hand waving– the jester hiccups, giggling softly to herself. She sways so far to her left that she has to catch herself on the edge of the counter, skull only inches away from cracking against the cold metal.
“Heyyyyyy,” Pomni drawls, looking up at the rabbit with endless, swirling eyes, “When’d you get here?”
