Hyuntak groaned as he shut the TV off with his remote, pulling the blankets over his body as he was ready to head to bed. After all, he had nothing better else to do. He was hopeless.
Until, the doorbell rang.
Soft footsteps echoed across the stairway as Hyuntak’s mothers gentle voice called out, “Hyuntak! Your friend Humin here!”
Of course he came.

But, for a moment, he felt like he'd forgotten him entirely.

Su-ho’s expression shifted, softening now. He reached out and touched Beomseok’s wist, then pulled back like he thought better of it. “Dude,” he said, his voice becoming gentler now, “You’re not some sad charity case. We’re friends.”
Beomseok shook his head, looking away from him. “.. doesn’t feel like it.”
There was a beat of silence. Long, awkward silence. God.. they are so terrible at communicating.
