Summary
For months after Regulus and James’ marriage, they struggled with issues. Not the normal marital spats, but Regulus was struggling with his own problems, unbeknownst to everyone but the two. Alcohol was slowly ruining both their lives, and after a messy divorce, the two have slowly reconnected.
“You need to go, Reg. I can’t sit and watch you throw everything you’ve worked so hard for away. What about Harry? What about me?” James pleaded with Regulus, but he refused to budge.
“I’ll be fine! I’ve told you once; don’t make me tell you again.” Regulus’ bloodshot eyes and messed hair said otherwise. They both just wanted to yell and shake each other and fall into the other’s arms crying, but they could not do that. They should not.
