Normalmente fanfics Zuko/Sokka não me pegam, mas essa foi uma excelente exceção, gostei muito da história, ao contrário de outras AUs, essa teve mudanças bem drásticas em seus acontecimentos, porém uma ótima narrativa.

Summary
“Franklin Winter.”
Franky closed his eyes for a moment and contemplated ignoring the voice. It was him, of course it was him. Coming back home had been great, but it always felt like he was waiting for the other shoe to drop. How he had avoided him thus far, he was not sure. Nat had told him he lived on the other side of town now. Franky sighed deeply.
“Ballas Kohl.”
When he turned around it was a strange thing. Ballas looked like he always had in a lot of ways. Maybe his jaw was a bit more defined, his shoulders broader and, impossibly, his cheeks even more pronounced. But overall, he still wore the face that featured in all his childhood memories. His eyes were different though. Before, they always used to have a coldness to them, a distance.
That was gone now, but Franky could, for the life of him, not discern the look that replaced it.(or; Franky had not seen Ballas in a decade and really wants to punch him)

Summary
It's the first winter after Pitch's defeat. Jack is happy, he's not alone anymore, and his memories are gradually returning. But when a treasure hunt gone wrong puts Jack and Jamie in danger, flinging them through time and space, they find themselves on an island neither of them have heard of before. Jack's first priority is to get Jamie home safe, but Berk's inhabitants - human and otherwise - are certainly not making it easy.
Knowing they will leave Berk and the Vikings behind as soon as they know how to, Jack is not going to risk the pain of growing close to any of these people (or dragons, for that matter). But Hiccup Horrendous Haddock, wearing his heart on his sleeve, doesn't seem to want to take the hint.
