Looking aloft, Marc noticed as Peter had decided to show up looking like he'd rolled out of a dream sequence and into a Vogue seasonal. Deep navy and gold shimmered along the lines of a tailored coat that clung to him like sin, capped with a royal-looking sash that fluttered without wind. The stitching gleamed faintly like constellations. He looked like a prince out of some intergalactic fairytale.
Marc forgot how to breathe.
Peter spotted him across the garden. And smiled.
That kind of stupid, too-handsome, "I-know-I'm-hot-and-you-do-too" grin that made Marc feel like he was thirteen again and staring directly into the sun.
"Oh no," Marc whispered.
"Oh yes," Jake purred.
"Don't be weird," Steven hissed.
