AU where the events of BG3 don't happen
Gale of Waterdeep recently moved to Baldur's Gate to be a professor, he finds himself in need of the second book to his series. Finding himself walking the alleyways of the city he gets stopped by Astarion. Who just so happens to need to bring someone, anyone back to Cazador. Managing to capture Gale and bring him forth, Astarion is punished for Gale's awful tasting blood. As punishment Astarion must drink Gale's blood and his blood only. Gale is kept prisoner praying to Mystra for a way out. And praying that the lack of magical items don't cause an explosion that will level the city. Can Astarion find a way for Gale to survive and escape, and can Gale do the same for Astarion.
