Summary
She can't remember a life before the mines. It's an empty stretch of nothingness that yields no answers to the six-spoked branding on her face, or the times where it feels - just for a moment - like someone else is in her mind.
OR:
An enormous, angst-ridden, fluff-stuffed fic about traveling with the Bad Batch. Unhealthy relationships abound. Slow burn with lots of jealousy, damage, but the delicious pay-off reward. Chapter 1 has more detailed intro, summary, and details.

OR:
Echoing MTES Part I, Part II continues the front-line POV of The Clone War. Summary
“I have seen her act when truly anchored. Her discipline, her restraint, her clarity of action—they all return when she knows she is part of something larger, something enduring. She is like a star unmoored: brilliant, dangerous, but susceptible to being snuffed out by any passing shadow. Bonds do not weaken her—they guide her, hold her in check, give reason to her emotions.”
Mace Windu speaks again: “I do not doubt her skill, but attachment is a double-edged sabre. When she loses those she trusts, when they fall despite her best efforts, how will she respond?”
Plo Koon’s head tilts slightly. “Better to risk a fire contained than a flame untethered.”
𖤓
One disastrous mission leaves six of your men dead and everything you thought you knew about yourself shattered. As the Clone Wars grind on, grief, addiction, forbidden attachments, and a growing distrust of the Jedi Council begin pulling you apart. The harder you fight to keep the people you love, the closer you drift towards becoming someone you no longer recognise.

Summary
Springing a trap in a Separatist lab shouldn’t be a problem. Your squad is the most prestigious in the GAR, even if they are a bit extreme in their methods, and fighting their way out of a corner is what they do best.
It’s fortunate their tactics are so unconventional; as the heavy, potent gas pours into the lab, you soon learn there’s only one way out. And you won’t be fighting.
