“A sleepover?” Bakugou echoes. “I thought you only taught five-year-olds, not that you were one.”
“Har har.” Kirishima rolls his eyes. “What else do you call two adults indulging in crappy food and crappier movies, huh? Look, it’ll be fun! And I can convert you into a Crimson Riot fan.”
“Hah? How many times do I have to tell you? All Might all the way, ‘til the day I fucking die.”
Kirishima frowns playfully. “Picture it, man: you, me, a marathon of pre-quirk hero films, and all the spicy chips you could ever want. What do ya say?”
Longing for the throes of youth, Kirishima invites his pro-hero boyfriend over for a sleepover. (And totally doesn't embarrass himself in the process.)

Summary
While in high school, his eye doctor had noticed damage to his eyes. His quirk, which already made him deaf, was costing him his eyesight as well.
“A very bright explosion can temporarily ‘bleach’ the photoreceptors in your retina,” his doctor had said. “You should be more careful when looking at your explosions.”
Since then, he’s had annual eye doctor appointments. Every time, they had to dilate his eyes, and every time, it kicked his ass and gave him vertigo worse than any concussion he's ever had. What pisses him off is that it wasn't the act of dilation that messed him up, it was the side effects.

Bakugou has to get his eyes dilated and is prone to migraines and vertigo. Thankfully his wonderful husband loves him and helps him out.
