“We’ve known this, yeah,” Trey nods. The look Ace and Deuce give him make it clear this is the first time they’ve heard of this. Riddle can’t blame them, they’re only freshmen after all.
“Well, you remember how we moved all the hedgehogs to the pen inside a few days ago?” Riddle asks.
“Yeah, it was a lot of trouble,” Deuce sighs, sagging in his position.
“Well, the reason I had them moved is because I found a multitude of teeth marks in the pen’s wooden frames outside.”

* Note: For the most part all the Gym Leaders are aged down, like how Brock and Misty were in the Original Series. So in this, Roark is 14, as it felt weird to me for an adult with two full time jobs to be traveling around with two kids. *
