“Wait, this isn’t my bedroom.” Viktor furrowed his eyebrows, taking another look at the door. It, in fact, was not Viktor’s bedroom.

Viktor never leaves Zaun. Instead, as Singed's protege, he draws the attention of Silco and ends up taken under the kingpins' wing, another stray in a makeshift family of outcasts and orphans.
With no one to stand by his side after the Council's ruling, a disgraced Jayce Talis enlists as an Enforcer and swiftly climbs through their ranks until he is assigned a mission befitting of the golden boy of Piltover's Police Force.
When a cadre of Enforcers barges in to the Last Drop demanding to speak with Silco, Viktor does everyone a favor by intervening in the conversation between them and his little sister before it can escalate to explosive porportions.

“It’s not about Zaun! Viktor is here, and–” He chokes on his own words, shallowing back the scream that’s threatening to rip its way out of his throat. “And I can’t let him go,” he averts his gaze, suddenly subdued. “Not again.” His voice comes out frail and defeated, the anger in his tone from just a few seconds ago dissipating at the mention of Viktor.
Ekko doesn’t say anything, neither does Jayce. The confession weighs heavily on them both, filling up the entire room until it soaks into every crevice.
“Please. Just leave us alone. I’m not going back. I can’t."

‘I…’ Viktor bumps their noses together, once, twice. This should be technically classified as a form of high-level torture. He’s never been this close before, so fucking close to everything he’s been craving for the years on end his life has been entirely enveloped by him. Never been so close to just letting go, closing the space, biting that lower lip.
Viktor knows, evolution-wise, his attraction to Jayce serves no greater purpose, and should therefore be ignored. But he can feel the sexual tension within him beginning to make him bitter, and harsh. Jayce just wants his partner back.
