1-Amy is hiding a pregnancy,
2-there's an ex-boyfriend out there Sonic can't wait to put the fear of Dark Gaia in,
3-Sonic might not be the unborn hoglets' dad, but damnit, Amy needs support and he's going to go all out.Or:
After mishearing a conversation, Sonic comes to the deeply false conclusion that Amy's pregnant, and her ex-boyfriend had the nerve to dump her upon discovering her pregnancy. It's a snowball that gets bigger as it rolls downhill, catching innocent bystanders on its way.
