Summary
How long had it been? Time had passed, but he couldn’t tell how much. It was still plenty bright out, but he couldn’t muster the strength to look up. All he could do was just keep going forward. His mind unable to form much coherent thought.
His vision blurred as his legs finally gave out, crashing to the floor of the forest. He struggled to move, but only managed to roll onto his back. He gazed at the sky, trying to take deep breaths but was relegated to shallow pants by the horrid pain in his chest.
He heard the sound of running water close by. He turned his head slightly, seeing that he had somehow made his way to a small river.
Crosshair once again finds himself in an inescapable situation, but this time, his brothers may not be there in time to save him. But Tech refuses to give up on his brother. Will it be enough to guide his lost sibling home? Or had he already drifted too far.

Summary
With Cid properly motivated to sell out the Bad Batch and Omega almost guaranteed to fall into the doctor’s hands, Hemlock has no need to interrogate Crosshair. That doesn't mean he doesn't have a use for the ex-sniper though, and Crosshair finds himself assigned as a subject to a new project exploring life force transfer.
Omega has just arrived at Tantiss after being captured by the Empire. She's pretty sure she's only here to keep Nala Se in line, but even knowing that her safety is ensured as long as the Kaminoan behaves doesn't make the months stuck there any less boring. Luckily, she's found a companion in the form of a strange light-grey tooka taking solace in her room.
