this is an idea i’ve had for a while and my friend told me i should write it down so i’m doing this for her (and definitely not because she threatened to end my bloodline if i didn’t-). Iwaizumi and Oikawa are children in this btw. Also this is kind of an au, i just changed their backstories.

There are two travellers; one of a world fictitious and fabled and one of a world beyond his own. There are two travellers, guided by the stars and by the dreams of a life doomed and blessed and cursed all the same. There are two travellers, footsteps imprinted on sand blown away by the cruel winds and stones that dig into the soles of their feet. There are two travellers, lost in time and in fleeting visions disguised as dreams and nightmares; although the distinction is slowly blurring the lines that had once separated it.
One traveller marvels at the worlds and dimensions and timelines different from his own, the core of his very soul staring back at him. Spinning on its own axis, on the axis of those near, and everywhere and nowhere all at once; is this not what you wanted? Is this not what you needed?.
One traveller holds the threads of fate in her hands, weaving a tapestry of a world she once knew, of a world she is born again in. Confusing and familiar and foreign. The colors cloyingly stare at her, taunting her of her place in this universe, you do not belong here, girl.
