Summary
“Let me hear,” George’s soft voice broke the silence, accent slipping through like a lullaby.
“It isn’t good, George. It’s not pretty,” Dream said back, eyes lifting back up to gaze at him again. Light snuck onto the corners of his face, but the rest was covered by darkness. George couldn’t see his expression, his eyes, the curve of his lips that had marked his body hours before.
“Not everything is, at first,” George reminded him. “Nothing’s going to be perfect on the first try.”
More silence. It’s so fragile, so intimate, so easily breakable. For once, he knows he has Dream hanging off his every word. He’s aware of the power he holds right now, and he’s equally aware of the fact that he could snap Dream, right here, right now. Crush him in his hands like a twig, toss him out and leave him forgotten.
He doesn’t.Bookmarked by bethnotfound03

“The things I said on the phone,” George continued, voice slightly airy, “made you rush home. You’re not usually the one easily worked up. Am I on to something?”
Dream didn’t respond, sucking harder against the pale skin of his neck, and making George’s back arch with the sensitivity. His hands fell down, gripping Dream’s shirt between white-knuckles. “Answer me,” George found his voice, the words leaving his lips with an air of demand.
“George,” Dream’s voice snapped George from his pseudo-dominance, making the latter gaze up at him at the assertiveness in his tone, “who’s about to fuck you right now?”
George swallowed, but his throat felt dry. He resisted the urge to squirm at the words alone. “...you,” he said finally, and he saw Dream tilt his head with another small grin. It made George feel weak.
“Then tell me why you’re trying to talk back to me. You wanted me to come home. You said those things, knowing what it’d do, for a reason. So, George…” Dream’s hand found its way to George’s chest, pushing the brunet against the bedsheets, “why are we focusing on me?”Bookmarked by bethnotfound03

Summary
For as long as he could remember, they'd been a trio. The Dream Team. Dream, Sapnap, and George. But things change all too quickly. When Dream represses his feelings for George a little too long and flies off the handle, the very words "our best friend" put him in great unease. At first, he's scared that he'll do terrible things.
And then he stops caring about the consequences. George is his.
And no one is taking that away from him.

“One more’s a turkey! Do you know what a turkey is, you probably don’t, do you?”
“A bird. Or something you eat on Thanksgiving,” Dream replied monotonously, eyes flicking up from his phone to glance at George. George seemed way too thrilled with himself.
“Nope, when you get three strikes in a row, because you’re so incredible and amazing and the best at bowling like GeorgeNotFound, that’s what’s called a turkey, Dream! I’m so winning! I’ve won, I’ve literally won,” the Brit laughed, parading around and waving his arms in the air. “The chances of me not getting a strike next turn are like, slim to none. I’ve literally won. I beat you. Admit it.”
Dream smiled. He’d never seen him look quite like this before. “It’s not over yet!”Bookmarked by bethnotfound03

Summary
His gaze trailed up to the night sky, and he felt that familiar insignificance again. Smaller than any one of the countless stars in the sky littered before him; an ant, a spec, nothing but a particle of dust in the vastness of space. He didn’t matter. Not really.
So how is it that he’s physically taller and larger than the people he cares for most, yet they seem larger than life, and he feels like a mistake?

“He’s perfect in every way, everything he does makes me feel like… we’re destined to be together, but I don’t know how to approach that. I need guidance,” he confessed, letting the coin roll between his fingers one more time, “and I need it soon. I can’t stand the image of anyone else laying a hand on him. If… if anyone’s listening right now, anyone, or any higher power, or… I don’t know exactly who’s supposed to hear and grant wishes once they’re cast, but… whoever that is, if you hear me, please. I can’t let him go.”

Summary
"Dream?" George had spoken up softly a few days after it was assured they were spending the remainder of their days tethered together.
"Yes, my dear?" Dream asked, hovering behind George was he picked away the overpaint on an older canvas.
"Does this mean that... you have a sense of mortality again?"
Dream was baffled by the question, and he let out a soft, confused chuckle. "Pardon?"
"I mean, like... if you're tethered to me," George said slowly, "and I'm mortal... that means... when I go, so do you. It's like... death all over again. Does that... scare you?"
Dream gave a thoughtful hum. "No, I don't think so," he stated, voice still rather cheerily lilted. "I guess I was afraid of death back when I was still alive..." Dream's head tilted. "But then when it actually happened, I... came back anyway, in some way or another." He shrugged. "Death really doesn't have any meaning to me. Especially if... when you pass on," Dream's face relaxed to a smile as he sat beside George, wrapping his arms around his waist and resting his chin atop his shoulder, "we'll still be together for eternity."
