He hated the idea of loving a man, and loving a man who was better than him in every way.
It was stupid, but society narrated the story of two men who shouldn't be together, and if they were? They'd have to narrate the story of a heterosexual couple.And now that Izuku was quirkless?
He was the weak one.
he was the woman.And he didn't want to be inferior, he wanted to be the masculine heroic hero All Might was.
He was the symbol of peace.
And yet Katsuki hadn't learned the language of love, he didn't recognise the hatred and inferiority beside Midoriya as admiration. Till he learnt it, and he adored it.
Yet he'll never be seen.
So now they pretend, and puppet around. Like idiots, as if they cannot speak, they don't have the skill to express their fears, hopes and loves for the other.As they have to pretend.
