The line for the drive-thru was irrationally long for a coffee shop that sucked at consistently making a latte. They could go in and grab their coffee, Eddie thought as he looked through the semi-foggy windows. There were maybe ten patrons in there and all of them were sitting down enjoying their coffee and donuts. It would surely be a faster, more sensible decision.
But if they did that then Eddie couldn’t lean over the center console and whisper, “I bet I can make you come before we get to place our order.”

Eddie’s right leg was jumping up and down. “Jesus H Christ, do you have every Christmas song memorized?” He blurted out.
Steve looked over at Eddie as he continued singing.
Eddie shook his head as Steve turned his head back to the road. “This is the most annoying Christmas song.”
“I assure you, there are more annoying Christmas songs than this. This,” Steve pointed to the radio. “Is a classic.”
Eddie scoffed and cracked the window before lighting a cigarette. “Wrong again, Harrington. There are no classic Christmas songs.”
(Or the one where there's a road trip, Christmas songs on every station, and two hours for two guys to realize they are head over heels for each other.)

“I didn’t know you were scared of them,” Eddie furrowed his brows at Steve, staring at him over the top of the Beemer. He opened and closed his mouth a few times, wanting to say sorry. “That’s good, right?”
Steve laughed, shaking his head. “No, now I am going to get a boner every time I pass one.”

The Hideout is more packed than normal for a Thursday night. Steve guesses it’s because of the new karaoke machine Ray bought, much to Eddie’s disapproval. Ray bought a fucking karaoke machine, Steve, and he is insisting we start a karaoke night. Steve had to stifle a laugh at how Eddie was treating this as if Metallica decided to shave their hair. And well, once Robin got a hold of this information, she had demanded they all go watch the local Tammy Thompsons perform their favorite hits.
Or the one where Steve sings a song at Karaoke night, Eddie doesn't know what to do, and Robin is over both of them.
I hate summaries, I hate tagging. But I love this little story. The title and the song is 'I'm Your Man' by Wham! of course.

Eddie had to look back at Steve’s face before he really turned himself on and this got embarrassing. He had to bite down the smirk threatening to show how Steve’s jaw was basically on the floor. Eddie settled on puckering his lips at him with a wink.
Steve glared at him again, but he also licked his lips. But, before he could do anything else, the clerk was back and he had to turn back around.
“You two are so gross. It literally makes me want to vomit.” Robin said beside him.
“I’m rubber, you’re glue. Whatever you say bounces off me onto you.” Eddie mocked.
