Hauling his bag over his shoulder, Shane stared around the room, one more glance at the men he’d given the best years of his career to.

Except he's totally lying to himself. And maybe there's hope after all. Because as they get closer and Wille opens up more and more, Simon begins to think that there may be a teeny tiny chance that Wille is queer. If you squint.
It's a good thing they both know how to use their words.
