Obi-Wan adored and worshiped Anakin - from the crown of his head where a fate beyond comprehension rested, to the tips of his toes that gave him balance, gave him grace. He was the Force incarnate, and what sort of Jedi would he be if he didn’t adore it in all his capacity?
But there was one spot on Anakin’s body that Obi-Wan loved above all else. He wished to kiss it, to bite it, to devour it. It was always soft, always warm, always the prettiest shade of pink. It smelled densely of Anakin, musky and deep in the back of Obi-Wan’s throat. It felt divine, beyond compare, glorious and sweet.

It wasn’t Anakin’s staring that undid Obi-Wan, nor was it his weight, or the way he smelled, or how he hovered in Obi-Wan’s periphery like a loyal dog. It was simply how he touched Obi-Wan by barely touching him at all.
Someone had once called it a ‘teasing touch’ or a ‘lingering touch.’ But those were done subtly and with intention. Obi-Wan was certain Anakin wasn’t even aware the effect his actions had on Obi-Wan.

Summary
For as hard as some people out there insisted that plants were, by nature, predictable and responsive living things—that they were simple and loved the sunlight and water and could be cared for with a relatively straightforward regimen that made it nearly impossible to kill them—Obi-Wan did not make for a good plant dad. Obi-Wan may have been patient, diligent, and responsible, but plants seemed to abhor him and the feeling was, respectfully, mutual.
Which is why it was so strange when Anakin gifted him with one.
