Summary
Levi has always hated the hero names the public has come up with for him. 'Humanity's Strongest,' he despised. 'Captain' wouldn't have been so bad, if it weren't so blatantly coined off of Erwin's hero name, 'Commander.' Of course, now they're calling him the fucking 'Wings of Freedom.'
Wings of Shit, Levi thinks bitterly.
The post-MHA AU no one asked for. In the era after Deku's generation, Levi struggles to harness his quirk as he and Erwin lead the Survey Corps hero agency against the growing titan threat. Featuring the veterans both as teenagers and adults. -

Summary
The first time that Levi is sent to Erwin’s office, he is accompanied by a furious, red-faced Flagon, who grips him too hard by the arm. “Since he is your pet project, you can deal with him,” Flagon says.
“And what exactly is the trouble now?” Erwin says.
“He cleaned the entire goddamn barracks,” Flagon says.
Erwin looks at him, looks at Levi, looks back. “I’m not following,” Erwin says.Flagon gets fed up trying to find a way to punish Levi, so Erwin takes over. This works well until it doesn't.

Summary
When people look at Levi – new recruits, citizens, higher ups, soldiers, anyone really other than Erwin and Hange and some of his squad – they always look at him like they are waiting for him to snap, afraid that he will snap. Afraid that he will suddenly and without warning turn into the killer that he is known as, jarred out of that cold, calm demeanor in an instant and into striking, startling violence.
And Levi always wants to laugh. Because Levi does not snap – he splinters.

Summary
When Levi walks in to see Erwin, Hange, and Mike all sitting on his living room couch, he freezes. Isabel and Furlan stand next to them, and Levi realizes that this is another one of their interventions. Levi is very familiar with their interventions. There's been several of them.
Of course, they don't usually involve the underworld he's getting sucked back into, his shit mental health, the deteriorating relationship with his boyfriend, the reappearance of his abusive, deadbeat uncle, and the various beatings, cuts, and black eyes which have become a near weekly occurrence, all rolled into one.
Levi did not sign up for this shit.

Summary
When a soldier comes rushing up to tell Erwin that Levi's been injured and Squad Leader Hange has requested that he come immediately, urgently, the worst case scenarios start flooding Erwin's head, images of Levi lying broken and dying, bleeding out or with missing limbs.
So Erwin is very confused when he arrives and Levi is not dying, not gravely injured, but standing up against a tree, covered in blood, a murderous look in his eyes, waving his blades around and threatening any medic that tries to come near him, pointing the weapons at Hange. “Get the fuck back Four-eyes or I’ll slice those shitty glasses off your face,” Levi says.
Or, Levi has a bit of a phobia, and Erwin and Hange find out in a not so ideal way.

Summary
Levi knew it was possible to learn what all these letters meant when they were put together. Other people could read, so he could too, eventually, maybe. He'd made it through being a streetrat, losing his family, and having to relocate to a whole other city after getting into one too many fights with the idiots who would rather point a gun at you than get a real job. Starved within an inch of his life, losing everything nearly overnight, and yet the thing that was kicking his ass was ink. On a page. The book wasn't even that complicated looking. It had a plain cover and a short title. He thought maybe if he looked at the letters long enough he'd get something to click.
- Levi's attempts to try to teach himself to read are interrupted by Erwin, a stranger, who for some reason, seems interested in explaining the complexities of grammar to him.
