Bolstered at finding that she can in fact do good work in the care and keeping of a Joel, she decides to expand her bag of tricks.
Unfortunately, there’s one area that she knows is most important in keeping Joel safe, in knowing that she can take care of him if she needs to.
It just happens to be an area that sends her into panic attacks of her own.

“So? Beach?” He asks, sitting back. “Yay or nay?”
“Yay,” she says around a yawn. “Big yay.” She settles down with a little wiggle that’s still as amusing as the first time he saw her do it months ago. “I bet it’s so cool,” she says, closing her eyes. “Pro-” She yawns. “Promise we’ll see it one day?”
“Promise,” he says softly, rising to pull her blankets up over her shoulder.
“And I wanna pet a shark,” she says dreamily.
“That one’s a no,” he says, sitting beside her to rub circles on her back, a surefire way of pushing her all the way over the edge into sleep.
“We’ll see,” she says before she’s out.
What a little punk.

“I thought you were gonna be mad at me,” she says, flicking her eyes up to him briefly before looking back to the snowglobe, giving it another shake, this one more restrained.
“I get why you wanna go out,” he says, sitting back. Apparently they’ll be having this little chat entirely in the hallway. “I’m not going to let you, but I get why you want to.”
She bites the inside of her cheek, thoughtful.
“You promise you’re not mad?” She asks. It’s not the first time he’s been asked this question. He’s pretty sure it won’t be the last.
“Promise,” he tells her. “Already forgotten.”
She looks at him then, a studying sort of look, and then she smiles.
“That’s just because you’re getting senile,” she says, like the little shit she is.
Perhaps he should reconsider letting her off the hook so easily.

Summary
This work is a collection of scenes that aim to fill in the gaps of The Mandalorian season 3 to make the story more cohesive.
Episode 6 is completely rewritten.
A trap was set for Bo, and Din long before they are called to Corusant by the Senate to answer allegations around Moff Gideon's escape from trial.
Leia Organa's son Ben Solo is targeted by assassins. Bo, and Din are asked to find the ones behind these attempts.
While on the hunt, Bo, and Din discover long forgotten secrets under the Jedi Temple.
Elia is commissioned by Moff Gideon to convince the Senate of the belief, that Bo Katan is still the murderous terrorist, as all those years ago.

Joel would look up at Marlene incredulously if he weren’t so busy pinning the writhing monster to the wall with the aim of his gun. And— well, if it weren’t for the adrenaline flooding his system, he’d stop and realize that the threat of a gun has never stopped an Infected before.
