Summary
Her body was heavy with exhaustion, the pill they had given her already dulling her senses, but the ache in her shoulder still throbbed with every beat of her heart.
You really screwed up this time, huh Freya..
Then, she heard it.
A voice.
Soft, low, but unmistakable.
"Oh, kitten."
After a mission turned into a disaster, Freya wakes up captured and injured. The sharp pain of a gunshot wound in her shoulder serves as a reminder of her failed escape. As she struggles to stay conscious, she discovers she’s not the only one captured—Nikto, a sadistic, dangerous figure from her past, is bound nearby.
Her history with him is one of violence and torture, but with both of their lives on the line, they are forced to confront an unsettling truth: he might be her only hope, and she just might be his.Series
