Summary
Fish. Minho loves to fish. But he never keeps them, always reeling them in and throwing them back out to the lake.
“They’ll live happier lives without me interrupting it,” he told Jisung when he accompanied him once, watching the sun cradle him in its palms as he casted his line. Minho liked to tell Jisung he was the sun, but Jisung always thought Minho shined just as bright. Not the moon, but a star.
“My life is much happier for your interruptions,” Jisung smiled, and shielded his eyes. In the light, Minho was less of a full shape and more of just a silhouette, but it didn’t matter, Jisung could place all his features blind.
“That’s the difference between you and fish, Sung,” Minho laughed.
Minho reeled in a fish and sent it back out almost immediately. Jisung never thought he’d do the same to him.
Maybe he wasn’t so different from the fish after all.
(OR: Minho broke up with Jisung eight months ago. A series of unfortunate (and some fortunate) events bring them back together.)

Summary
He stands and watches Jisung while coach rambles on about their week. Shit-eating grin, deceptively round cheeks, lightning in his eyes. Minho knows the type, he’s been in the game long enough. Cocksure asshole, boiling over with his own ego, toxic masculinity to boot.
Minho hates him, he doesn’t need to be proven right by talking to Jisung, he knows he hates him by the way Jisung smacks fists with Jeongin, thumps him on the back when they break to start practice.
“I hear he’s gunning for your limelight,” Changbin hooks Minho over the neck with a strong arm, heading down the field. “Better watch out.”
Minho scoffs. “Fat fucking chance. I’d like to see him try.”

Summary
The conclusion Minho has come to after nights spent thinking of wavy brown hair when he spaces out during Jeongin’s kids shows, days spent with his eyes skimming the beach for a glimpse of honey skin, is that humans have an interest in the unknown.
Jisung is a new character in his day to day, the first in ages, ever since Hyeju got hired as a lifeguard. Jisung is pretty and he’s from the mainland but he seems to be setting up a life here, and Minho knows nothing about him besides his name. His brain has inexplicably latched onto a weaved story, a routine thing he and Hyunjin do, because humanity craves to learn more about the unknown.
The Jisung in his head is separate from the Jisung on the beach, though they look the same. A temporary annoyance, a psychological torment.
(OR: Minho, left to care for his younger brother after his parents death, works to make ends meet and doesn't have time for distractions. Jisung, a free-spirited and very distracting surfer, moves to town and turns Minho's world on it's head.)

Summary
"People can forget their bags." He responded instantly, almost regretting talking back before the man in front of him opened his mouth.
"Not in my kitchen they can't." He shoved the bag into his chest, the impact reasonably would've scared him more if he wasn't fired up a bit. "What 's your name?"
"Han Jisung."
"Well Han Jisung, if you want to be the guy I want to get to know, you better work for it."
As he left, everyone in the surroundings aware of the exchange, previously holding their breath, either started to disperse or, in Changbin's case, started to whistle. "Good job Jisung. You just earned an arch enemy who knows how to use his knives."(or: Minho is the new chef, Jisung is proned for disaster and ends up creating a one-sided rivalry with the boy, before realising his feelings towards the other were never as simple as he first intended.)

Jisung almost wishes he could disappear, or hide behind the menu at the very least. “You’re . . . my co-star,” he says, finally.

They are cute, adorably so. One of the guys brings them both breakfast in the morning, puts cute stickers on his neighbours’ door, and it always smells like cooking from the nearest apartment. Also, they have a nice dog.
And here lies the main problem.Or: Jisung is in love with his neighbour's boyfriend but he is definitely not a homewrecker.

Summary

Jeongin meets Hyunjin at a New Year's Eve party and starts his 2021 by helping him find his friends. What initially starts as the good deed that will definitely grant Jeongin good karma to last for the rest of the year turns out quite differently than expected— One minute he's helping a guy stand in a dirty club bathroom, and the next said guy is dancing in his apartment with his brother-in-law. On his birthday.
Don't ask Jeongin. He doesn't know how it happened, either.

Summary
For as long as the bar Minho worked at had been hosting Friday night performances, Jisung had been there.
He always sat at the same small table in the back, always alone, always slowly nursing a bottle of beer. He never performed, but it was clear from the way he watched that he wanted to be up there. Minho encouraged him every time, making sure he was there at the end of the night when Jisung finished his drink, snagging the bottle and popping the question, “Will we see you on stage next week?”
Jisung would always look up at him and hesitate, before nodding, “Yeah, next week.”
But the next week he’d be back, huddled at the table alone, his name nowhere to be found on Minho’s list of acts.

Or; the one where Hyunjin is an art student working on his MFA, struggling with a creative block. When he stumbles across a mysterious notebook that gives him new inspiration, his world is turned upside down by an aspiring musician with a mysterious past. Jisung promised himself he would never open up again, but something about the boy with paint stains on his jeans makes him think that there could be more to life than working in a coffee shop. Sometimes the only way to move on from pain is to love, and the only way to find true art is to create it with someone new.
