“There’s a slight problem with that idea,” She watched Chuuya’s lips quirk into a slight frown before she clarified, “I don’t have any friends.”
“You don’t need any. You doing anything after work?” She replied casually.
“No, I’m free. Why?”
“I’ll pick you up at eight, then?” Chuuya watched Akutagawa’s face evolve from confusion to realization and finally settle into a bashful flush.
“Chuuya-san, I can’t possibly-”
“Yes, you can.”
Or, Akutagawa has nothing to do on the hundredth Friday night in a row, that is until her absolute goddess of a coworker offers to get drinks with her, forcing her to conquer social interactions and her lesbian desires in one grand attempt to not embarrass herself in front of Chuuya.
